There’s something about a Bagel Board that feels like a hug! Not only is it a beautiful creation but a welcoming gift to let your guests enjoy their favorite spreads and toppings. There are so many possibilities and here are a few fun ideas!
Depending on the size of the guests, use a beautiful wood or marble board or a few small ones and layout in a row, be creative! Then add the small ceramic bowls (they don’t need to match) that might contain honey, jam, cream cheese, capers, and nut butter. These will be the anchors in the board and help keep everything in place.
Bagels
We suggest toasting AWG Everyday, Everything, and CinnaSpice Bagels 1-3 times for the best flavor and texture. Place these on the edges so that the toppings will be in the middle as the centerpiece.
Veggie Time
Now fill in with the medium sized items. You can use tomatoes, cucumbers, lox, and lettuce. Place these in the remaining edges, and make sure not to slice too thick since your guests will be stacking high.
Pops of Color
Let’s add more colors with berries, sliced onions, and lemon wedges. For these smaller items, you want to tuck these into the remaining space and make sure they will not fall off the edges. Feel free to move items around and find a color balance because you are creating a work of art with nature!
The Importance of Organic
Oh and let’s not forget about the importance of organic! It is grown without harmful pesticides and supports healthier soil and farming practices. Items like berries, lettuce, and tomatoes are especially worth sourcing organic, since they’re often eaten fresh and unprocessed. Not only is organic better for your body and the planet, but it tastes better! To read more, please click here.
Sweet or Savory??!!
We love a Bagel Board because your guests can create one half that is sweet and the other as savory, the happiest option for any foodie! This is also a perfect kid-friendly meal.
We promise, your guests will not be bored with this spectacular Bagel Board you created out of love and thoughtfulness! Thank you for making AWG part of your gathering, and we hope with every bite you feel our gratitude!
