Slicing & Storing & Serving... OH MY!

Hanna Lane Hanna Lane

So your delicious bread has arrived but you might be wondering… How do I take care of it? We have some VERY helpful tips and tricks for getting the most from your bread.

Slicing
We suggest slicing the bread thin with a serrated bread knife. It will not fall apart. Also, since the bread is so nutrient dense, a thin slice can satisfy your appetite. If you want to get a little guidance with your slicing, we love this bamboo bread slicer with 3 different thicknesses and a bread knife on Amazon

Love Our Creative Customers!
Look how Richard & Audrey take slicing to a whole new level! Every few weeks, Audrey stops by to pick up her order (she is wonderful!). Richard was given the task of slicing the bread before freezing. He decided to try out a Deli Food Slicer. The results are amazing! Thank you Audrey & Richard for sharing these wonderful photos.

Storing in Freezer

On the day of arrival, we suggest slicing products before freezing. Please store products in an airtight container for up to 6 months in the freezer. Just toast an extra minute to defrost!

TIPS: Cut out the label and place it in the airtight container as a quick way to see the flavor. Also, we love Stasher Bags

Toast

Please toast 1-3 times depending on thickness. Toasting changes the flavor and texture. The bread will get brown on the outside and the inside will get soft.

For Rounds (minis pizza or melts), toast/broil half the normal amount of time, stack high with ingredients, and then toast/broil for a few minutes. If baking in the oven, 475 degrees is a good temp.

TIP: Just toast an extra minute to defrost. Enjoy!!!
